
Maynards to Conduct Major Sales of State-of-the-Art Automotive Manufacturing Equipment from Hino Motors Facility
DETROIT, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Maynards, a global leader in industrial asset liquidation and valuation, is pleased to announce a series of major machinery and equipment sales from Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A., Inc.'s state-of-the-art axle manufacturing facility in Marion, Arkansas. The offerings feature more than $450 million in original acquisition cost, with most equipment acquired between 2020 and 2024.
The massive multi-day webcast sales will offer complete automotive and truck rear axle manufacturing lines, with equipment available both in bulk and piecemeal. All equipment is installed and under power, providing prospective buyers with the opportunity to acquire late-model production assets from a modern automotive manufacturing operation.
Sale 1 is scheduled for September 23 and 24, 2026, with a second sale planned for June 2027. An ongoing negotiated sale of key items is also being conducted, subject to release dates. Inspection for the September sale is scheduled for September 21 and 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT, by appointment, at 100 Hino Boulevard, Marion, Arkansas.
Highlights of the offer include:
- Robotics and Welding: More than 360 robots, including 265 Fanuc robots, 80 robotic welding cells, 145 Fanuc Arc Mate 100iD welding robots, material-handling robots, more than 100 Fanuc welding positioners, and hundreds of Miller welding power supplies.
- CNC Machining and Turning: 27 CNC machining and turning centers, including Okuma MA-500H II horizontal machining centers, Okuma Millac 44H II machining centers, Okuma V760EX vertical turning centers, and 14 Okuma LU3000EX CNC turning centers.
- Custom Axle Manufacturing Equipment: Extensive custom-designed CNC drilling, tapping, facing, boring, turning and finishing equipment for Tacoma and Tundra axle production, along with shaft spline rollers, straighteners and rear axle housing forming and straightening presses.
- Presses and Production Lines: A 2,810-ton Hitachi Zosen Fukui transfer press, a 1,461-ton blanking press and coil line, an Amino 1,000-kN die spotting press, complete carrier case, housing weld, shaft and assembly lines, and related production equipment.
- Inspection and Quality Control: Late-model Zeiss, Mitutoyo, Marposs, Renishaw and Zoller equipment, including CMMs, optical measuring equipment, comparator gauges, roundness testers, axle shaft inspection systems and tool presetters.
- Heat Treat, Washing and Plant Support: Ajax Tocco induction heaters, Lucifer and L&L heat furnaces, more than 20 parts washers, 33-ton overhead bridge cranes, Ingersoll Rand 500-hp centrifugal air compressors, air dryers and Donaldson Torit dust collectors.
- New MRO Inventory: Approximately $26 million in brand-new MRO inventory, including more than 90 Lyon rolling tool cabinets and a large quantity of shop and maintenance supplies.
