McDermott Will & Schulte adds partners Elizabeth Crouse and Alejandra Garcia Earley to power growth in energy and digital infrastructure

Complementary additions in energy tax and project finance deepen the firm's ability to finance, structure, and monetize the power behind AI and data center acceleration

NEW YORK, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- McDermott Will & Schulte announced that Elizabeth Crouse and Alejandra Garcia Earley joined the firm as partners, strengthening its position on a question central to today's dealmaking: how to finance the power that data centers and artificial intelligence demand.

McDermott has been active at the intersection of energy and digital infrastructure, recently representing Copia Power in its sale to EQT Infrastructure — a deal spanning renewable generation, storage, and gigawatt-scale data center campuses. The transaction reflects a broader market shift, as the build-out of data centers has turned access to reliable power into a central concern for investors, and deals pairing energy generation with digital infrastructure now rank among the market's largest and most complex.

Elizabeth joins the Tax Practice Group advising renewable energy, alternative fuels, and carbon capture clients, while Alejandra brings her work to the Transactions Practice Group, advising sponsors, lenders, and investors across the full life of energy and infrastructure projects.
