MDT Reveals Z-Axis TMR Sensors for eCompass and Current Sensors

The new Z-axis TMR sensors are compatible with Hall Effect sensors in the sensing direction as they measure the perpendicular magnetic field penetrating the sensor surface. They offer new options that are well suited for multi-axis eCompass, current sensors, and general-purpose linear magnetic field sensing, with the advantages of TMR sensors including high sensitivity, low noise, ultra-low power, and excellent thermal stability, which Hall Effect sensors cannot provide.
