ATLANTA, May 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- During a patriotic evening at the NRA Foundation Banquet in Atlanta, Georgia, Andy Wickstrom, President of Henry Repeating Arms, presented a Spirit of the Corps 250th Anniversary Tribute Edition rifle to Medal of Honor recipient and Georgia native Maj. Gen. James Livingston, USMC (Ret.). The presentation celebrated both General Livingston's extraordinary career of service and this year's milestone anniversary of the United States Marine Corps.

Andy Wickstrom addressed the crowd with a tribute to General Livingston's valor and his decades of service as a Marine, stating, "Tonight, we are here to celebrate that legacy by honoring one of the finest living embodiments of what it means to be a Marine. Major General Livingston served 33 years in the United States Marine Corps, earning the Medal of Honor for going above and beyond the call of duty on May 2nd, 1968, during the Battle of Dai Do in Vietnam. Following Vietnam, he held several critical leadership roles, including overseeing the final airlift from Saigon, commanding at Parris Island, and leading Marine Corps Forces Reserve through significant transformation. In his retirement, General Livingston continues to serve his country and community as an advocate for America's youth and military veterans.

Introduced this year, the Spirit of the Corps 250^th Anniversary Tribute Edition rifle features intricate engravings commemorating two and a half centuries of honor, courage, and commitment, with artwork representing the branch's contributions throughout American history.
