Launched in 2016, Pacific Rink was created by hockey players and brothers Brad Serkin and Jason Withee. The co-founders saw an underserved market in hockey bags, decided enough was enough, and dreamt up a concept for a premium brand with a high-end design aesthetic to fill the needs of hockey players all around the globe. Serkin and Withee then saw a similar underserved market in hockey apparel and developed and designed a line of unique apparel to fully form the brand.

"The two of us live and breathe hockey so we fully understand there is a lot more to the lifestyle than just what takes place on the ice," said co-founder Brad Serkin. The idea which birthed Pacific Rink was the development of hockey bag concepts conceived by Serkin and Withee – the Player Bag and the Pond Pack.

The Player Bag was designed to be a functional, custom built, traditional classic style hockey bag on the outside while on the inside features a number of custom, convenient compartments built specifically to fit the needs of a hockey player.

The Pond Pack is a backpack style pack loaded with customizable straps, sleeves and compartments. It is built to be a stealthy, multi-functional pack perfect for easy access, quick transportation and any kind of activity under the sun.

"After personally going thru four bags in two years and teammates sharing their similar challenges, I set on the quest to come up with the ultimate hockey bag solution which would be functional, durable and stylish for players while also allowing them to be used outside of hockey as well," said co-founder Jason Withee.

The Player Bag and Pond Pack are launching as part of a Kickstarter campaign which aims to make the redefinition of the hockey bag possible. Launching June 14, 2016, the Kickstarter campaign calls upon the hockey players hungry for a new hockey bag solution to interact with the brand and also offers them the chance to win a Player Bag or Pond Pack.
