Meet Tavis Larson, Marketing Company President of the New U-Haul Company of West Central Colorado

DENVER, March 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Tavis Larson has been named marketing company president (MCP) of the new U-Haul Company of West Central Colorado, formerly U-Haul Company of Southern Colorado. As MCP, Larson will oversee all operations including truck, trailer and storage rentals.

Larson began his U-Haul career in October 2009 as a general manager (GM) trainee at U-Haul Company of Southern Colorado. Shortly thereafter, Larson transferred to U-Haul Moving and Storage at Buckley Road as GM. In March 2013, Larson transferred to U-Haul Moving and Storage of Highlands Ranch, where he served as GM until his recent promotion.  His determination and will to succeed will lead the new company to success.

Although the marketing company is a new addition to U-Haul, the experience contributed by Larson and his team members will help the company succeed. Larson believes his marketing company has a good balance of veteran leadership and new management.  Each member's ability to adapt and the willingness to take on what needs to be done will serve not only the marketing company but U-Haul customers as well. The company's continued efforts to excel in all facets of the business through peer mentoring and working toward the same goals has opened new opportunities for each member to learn the strengths of others.  Additionally, Larson sees new branding opportunities for Team U-Haul, including growing the dealer network.
