MemorialCare Hospitals Again Take Top Spots in Media Reader Surveys

ORANGE and LOS ANGELES Counties, Calif., Sept. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center and MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center again took the top two spots in the Orange County Register's "Best of Orange County" competition that asks readers to vote for their favorite services and places. MemorialCare Medical Group landed in the top two in the Medical-Dental Group Category along with Edinger Medical Group located on Orange Coast's campus and affiliated with MemorialCare Medical Foundation.

MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center was named both the Press-Telegram Reader's Choice Best Hospital and the Beachcomber's Best of Long Beach Best Hospital. In the Beachcomber competition, MemorialCare Medical Group, with more than 2,000 employed and affiliated physicians, was voted Best Medical Group and Best Urgent Care Center for its Los Altos Marketplace location.

This is the second year Orange Coast Medical Center in Fountain Valley ranked first and fifth year it appeared among Orange County's top three hospitals in the Orange County Register readership vote. Saddleback Medical Center in Laguna Hills gained the top spot three of the last five years, this year ranking in the top two.
