MetroPCS Integrates Mavenir Converged Messaging Solution
RICHARDSON, Texas, and BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Mavenir Systems, provider of innovative mobile convergence solutions, announced today the deployment of its Converged Messaging solution at MetroPCS. Mavenir's IP-SMSC, part of the company's Converged Messaging solution, is a highly scalable and distributed product that enables new messaging services and provides MetroPCS a cost-effective platform to manage the increase in SMS data traffic.
Mavenir's IP-SMSC introduces an IP-based layered architecture for messaging and integrates seamlessly into the current MetroPCS network via industry standard interfaces. The product offers a starting point for operators to provide revenue-generating services such as SMS Value Added Services, Converged IP Messaging (CPM), Social Networks Aggregation, and delivery of SMS and MMS to LTE devices.
