WASHINGTON, Jan. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Brunswick Group, a leading corporate communications partnership, announced today that Michael Krempasky has joined as the head of its digital practice. Mr. Krempasky is based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, and will spend the majority of his time building out the firm's digital offering both domestically and internationally. He will work closely with our creative communications company MerchantCantos, which focuses on design, digital and video.

Mike Krempasky comes to Brunswick from Edelman where he was General Manager, focused on Internet strategy and communications, marketing and advocacy in Washington, D.C. As the head of their Digital Public Affairs organization, he oversaw all digital strategy in public affairs, public policy, corporate reputation, and crisis communications.
Before Edelman, Mr. Krempasky served as the political director of American Target Advertising, a full-service creative direct response marketing agency where he helped companies and organizations develop and use technology to enhance traditional fundraising and advocacy programs.
He has served as Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and is a frequent speaker and lecturer on technology and communications. In that capacity, he has testified before both the Federal Election Commission and the U.S. House of Representatives regarding the regulation of speech on the Internet.
