Michael Testorf, CFA Joins ClearBridge Investments International Growth Equity Team

NEW YORK, Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ClearBridge Investments, an established global investment manager committed to long-term results through active management, announced today that Michael Testorf, CFA joined the firm. Mr. Testorf will serve as a Portfolio Manager for International Growth Equity strategies, joining a team of portfolio managers led by Elisa Mazen.

Prior to joining ClearBridge, Mr. Testorf served as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Senior Partner at R Squared Capital Management LLP, a wholly employee owned firm. In this role he oversaw the combined research efforts of the firm's analyst team and members of the operations and trading team. For 13 years he worked at Artio Global Management (formerly Julius Baer) where he was most recently a Senior Portfolio Manager and Senior Vice President. In that role he was part of a team that managed over $70 billion.

Mr. Testorf holds his CFA and a Bachelor of Arts equivalent in Business and Economics from Witschaftsakedemie Hamburg (Academy of Business and Administration in Hamburg, Germany).
