Microsoft, CME Group, Xerox, Cisco Systems Among Tech Leaders Presenting at The Executives' Club of Chicago Centennial Technology Summit on June 1

CHICAGO, May 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Home to more than 50 publicly traded technology companies with more than 24,000 employers sustaining 275,000 high tech jobs, Chicago continues to be a global leader in technological innovation. The Executives' Club of Chicago, this year celebrating its centennial anniversary, will host the best and brightest from the tech industry at this year's Centennial Technology Summit at the Hilton Chicago on June 1.

This year's Technology Summit, Tech Tools & Tips to Maximize Your Personal Productivity, has been developed in collaboration with The Mayor's Council of Technology Advisors and The Wall Street Journal. Featuring eight different segments, the daylong summit includes on-site visits of two of Chicago's most advanced technology ventures: Microsoft's Technology Center and CME Group's Global Command Center.

This summit is the second of four full-day summits this year that support effective global partnerships and promote Chicago as a world class global business center.

A tour of CME Group's Global Command Center, a 35,000 square foot facility that monitors CME Group's global technology infrastructure and market operations. Includes an overview of how CME Group tracks global news, market information and geographic mapping on incoming customer calls.
