MicroVentures Announces No Fees For Startups And Investors In Equity Crowdfunding Offerings

AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroVentures, a leading equity crowdfunding platform, announced today that they are offering startups the option to raise capital through Regulation Crowdfunding with no fees. 

Founded in 2009, MicroVentures has raised over $180 million for early and late-stage opportunities across 350+ investment opportunities. Through their Regulation Crowdfunding offerings, MicroVentures gives anyone 18 years and older the opportunity to invest as little as $100 in startups. These opportunities have traditionally been closed off to the crowd. 

Starting today, MicroVentures is offering companies the ability to raise capital with zero fees charged by MicroVentures. Gone are the days of high commissions and equity compensation for funding portals. For companies who opt to raise capital via Regulation Crowdfunding through MicroVenture Marketplace, investor fees will also be reduced to zero.

Zero fees are only available for Regulation Crowdfunding offerings through MicroVenture Marketplace. Raises that are offering no fees on the MicroVentures platform are identifiable by a green "No Investment Fees" banner.
