Increasing the Rate of Sustainable Owner-Occupied Homeownership in Arizona through Educational Programs for the Real Estate Community

PHOENIX, Oct. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, Arizona Chapter (NAHREP-AZ) has partnered with the Mike Ferry Organization, a leading real estate training organization, to provide added educational benefits to its members.  This partnership will work in conjunction with the NAHREP-AZ Real Estate School providing free yearly admission for members to the Mike Ferry Action Workshops, Productivity School and Sales Talk events.  

The NAHREP-AZ School focuses on educational programs to inform its Realtor members of the issues facing minorities, under-represented consumers and the community at large in addition to the programs available to promote sustainable homeownership.  Classes range from issues on foreclosure, short sales, mortgage fraud and fair housing to rehabilitation loans, lease purchases and government resources for consumers.

Combining the Mike Ferry programs with the NAHREP-AZ School curriculum will empower NAHREP-AZ members with enhanced knowledge, business skills and leadership necessary to represent their clients at the highest degree and take an active role in the stabilization of neighborhoods hit hardest by Arizona foreclosures.
