Minnesota Vikings' Linebacker E.J. Henderson Joins SPO to Endorse New SPO Wellness(TM) Product Line

NEW YORK, December 2, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SPO (OTC: SPOM) and Brewer Sports International (BSI) announced today that they have partnered with Minnesota Vikings' middle linebacker E.J. Henderson in support of their new SPO Wellness(TM) product line that promotes healthy living for children and adults. To kick-off the upcoming SPO Wellness(TM) line, E.J. Henderson and Sidney Rice will host a launch event on Sunday, December 5 in Minneapolis to unveil the recently completed Wellness 10k(TM) wristband.

Henderson is currently in his eighth season with the National Football League (NFL) and third as team captain. The 6-foot-1-inch, 245 pound middle linebacker has been a mainstay in the middle for the Minnesota Vikings defense which has ranked at the top of the NFL for the past three seasons. Through 11 games this season, Henderson leads the Vikings in interceptions, is second on the team in tackles and is a strong candidate for the NFL Comeback Player of the Year. In 2009, E.J. was selected by his teammates as the Ed Block Courage award recipient and named the Vikings' Community Man of the Year.

As an athlete that has had to battle back from serious injuries in 2008 and 2009, Henderson fully understands the importance of health and wellbeing. Earlier this week E.J., along with teammate and SPO Wellness(TM) endorser Sidney Rice and several other Minnesota Vikings players and athletic training staff, participated in the "Play 60" Clinic at Catholic Charities - St. Joseph's Home for Children in Minneapolis as part of the Minnesota Vikings Community Tuesday initiative.

Approximately 50 youth were amongst the very first to receive the Wellness 10k(TM) wristband while being led through a series of drills designed to teach the basics of football.
