Misys Delivers Loan IQ 7.1 for Fully Integrated Commercial Lending

Misys plc (LSE: MSY.L), the global leader in treasury, capital markets and banking software solutions, announced today the availability of Misys Loan IQ 7.1, a fully integrated, comprehensive commercial lending solution that covers all aspects of the loan lifecycle and handles asset-based lending, commercial real estate lending and large corporate loans, including syndicated lending.

The solution provides a foundation that will allow Loan IQ clients to consolidate loan servicing systems for bilateral lending, syndicated lending with loan trading on a single platform. Version 7 includes Misys Origination for loan origination processing, Misys Portal for Loan IQ for online management of lending activities, and improved payment processing. Using the new consolidated system will allow clients to reduce or eliminate manual processes through increased straight through processing (STP), improve risk management and comply with necessary regulatory requirements through real-time exposure reporting.

Loan IQ Version 7 also includes SOA capabilities and an industry standard application server, as part of Misys' technology transformation of Loan IQ to an SOA architecture, so that financial institutions can leverage their in-house Java and Java EE knowledge and environments.
