Mixamo Extends Offering to Include Animal Motions

SAN FRANCISCO, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Building on its extensive collection of high-quality character animations, Mixamo Inc. today announced its first offerings of 3D quadruped animal motions for dogs, horses, and wolves, with cats and dragons forthcoming.

3D artists and animators in the video game, film/TV broadcast, virtual world platform, and other digital content creation markets now have access to a growing number of high-quality animal animations that can be customized in real-time using the intuitive slider system offered by Mixamo. Fully-rigged 3D dog, horse, and wolf models and accompanying motions are now available on www.mixamo.com, with more planned for release in the coming weeks.

Finally, the user is able to download the customized motion and then integrate into his 3D environment quickly and seamlessly.

Cat and fantasy models and animations will soon be available on www.mixamo.com, as will the ability to apply quadruped animations to users' own uploaded animal models.
