"I've seen Days of Thunder more than 100 times, so when I saw the script for the shoot, I was blown away. M&M'S® Crispy – 2-2-2-2
Filmed on location in Charlotte by NASCAR Productions, the M&M'S® Crispy Days of Thunder-inspired video short shows how a young, hot-shot stock car driver (Kyle Busch) gets his chance to compete at the top level.
The video and other fun behind-the-scenes content can be seen starting today exclusively on the M&M'S® YouTube Channel.
To further put the spotlight on M&M'S® Crispy, the No. 18 M&M'S® Crispy Toyota driven by Busch will be decked out in bright green all season long to honor the return of the product after a nearly 10-year hiatus. M&M'S® Crispy features a delectable combination of rich, milk chocolate with a crisp, crunchy center and was the No. 1 most requested flavor to come back from Mars Chocolate. After a decade of phone calls, petitions, Facebook posts and countless other pleas, M&M'S® Crispy returned to stores nationwide in January 2015.
Released in 1990 by Paramount Pictures, Days of Thunder was one of the first Hollywood films depicting stock car racing. Still quoted by NASCAR drivers, officials and members of the media, the feature film introduced NASCAR to a new generation of fans.
