MobileCON™ 2013 Announces C-Level Executives and Mobile Commerce Panel on Keynote Stage

Kicking off MobileCON™ 2013, Dan Mead (Verizon Wireless) joins industry leaders from American Express, Isis and Jamba Juice; AirWatch, CA Technologies, Good Technology, Juniper Networks and TechRepublic on the MobileCON keynote stage.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- CTIA–The Wireless Association® today announced the experts and thought leaders who will appear as keynote presenters and panelists at MobileCON™ 2013. Attendees will first hear from Dan Mead, 2013-2014 Chairman of CTIA's Board of Directors and Verizon Wireless President and CEO, who will share insights about the impact of wireless innovation in the enterprise. MobileCON™ 2013 takes place October 16-18, 2013 at the San Jose Convention Center in Silicon Valley.

On day one, MobileCON attendees will hear from a keynote panel on mobile commerce, including challenges and opportunities. Representing different elements of the mobile commerce ecosystem, the Mobile Commerce Panel is comprised of:

• Dan Mead, President and CEO, Verizon Wireless and 2013-2014 CTIA Chairman
• Michael Abbott, Chief Executive Officer, Isis
• Dan Schulman, Group President of Enterprise Growth, American Express
• James White, Chairman, President and CEO, Jamba Juice.

Following the keynote panel, MobileCON attendees will get an exclusive look at the new version of the Isis Mobile Wallet, which will include how to use Isis, and be able to check out Isis-ready Verizon Wireless devices. Verizon Booth 630 will feature live point of sale demonstrations from merchants in the retail, food/beverage and vending segments.
