Monitronics Taps ADT Human Resources Partner as Chief People Officer
DALLAS, July 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Dallas-based international security monitoring company, Monitronics, a subsidiary of Ascent Capital Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASCMA), today announced that it has tapped ADT Director and Lead Human Resources Business Partner, Kelly Harris, to join the company as Chief People Officer (CPO).
Harris brings more than 30 years of experience in Human Resources to the company, including more than 25 years at leading national retailer, JCPenney. There, she supported 35,000 employees across 18 states and 254 retail locations as Regional Talent Director. Throughout her tenure, she has acquired a unique understanding of human resources, customer service, sales and operations management.

She holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Administration, as well as several HR certifications. In her free time, Harris assists the local community by giving back to philanthropic organizations such as United Way, Prosper Independent School District's Dual Language Programs and Prosper Little League Youth Baseball and Softball, where she serves on the Board of Directors.
