VIOSO GmbH is presenting its new solution for large image projections. VIOSO Presenter Multi is the logical next step in VIOSO's software development for multi-display projections. It makes large format projections very easy and flexible to use for professional users.

VIOSO Presenter Multi automatically generates a Windows 7 desktop with high resolution using multiple projectors. Right now, up to six projectors can be used to create one seamless image. The new software is compatible with nearly all standard Windows programs, such as Microsoft Office and CAD applications. VIOSO Presenter Multi creates its multiple projector output utilizing the graphics hardware." The program is basically founded on a very flexible principle: it creates a high resolution image of any desired size using typical applications content and allows the user to operate the way he is accustomed to with Windows 7," explains VIOSO manager Benjamin Fritsch. "All tasks, such as warping or soft edge blending, are immediately applied on the output." There is no need for additional hardware.

"VIOSO Presenter Multi runs with zero CPU load and free of latency. That's why the software is the ideal solution for all performance-relevant applications," explains Fritsch. "With this new development we are turning our attention towards the fields of visualization and education in particular, which requires large, interactive displays, as well as towards the professional AV sector. VIOSO Presenter Multi is also very well suited for simulations."

As with other VIOSO products, surfaces with unusual textures and shape can be used for projection, too. The projections are automatically aligned with the help of a camera. Several parameters ensure the most exact adjustment possible for the respective background.

VIOSO demonstrates VIOSO Presenter Multi at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam. It's the largest European convention for audiovisual media and takes place from February 1-3, 2011 at the RAI Exhibition Center in Amsterdam. VIOSO can be found in Hall 2 at Stand A67. Other well known products from the company, such as the VIOSO Blackbox and Wings VIOSO, will be presented as well. Wings VIOSO, which is developed in cooperation with the Austrian company AV Stumpfl GmbH, can perform a wide range of media server functions. The tool allows automatic adaption of the projection for color and background geometry which VIOSO stands for. The VIOSO Blackbox is a hardware solution with the same functionalities that can be integrated on any available surface.
