Morgan Creek Capital Management Establishes Private Wealth Advisory Team
- New team brings a combined 85 years of experience with three senior hires -
CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Oct. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Morgan Creek Capital Management is pleased to announce the establishment of the Private Wealth Advisory Team. Michael Forstl, who joined the firm as a Senior Managing Director and Head of Intermediary Distribution in 2014, will oversee the team. The newly formed group will work primarily with intermediary distribution channels, with a focus on wealth advisors overseeing $500 million to $2 billion in assets.
The new team includes Christopher Arnold, Managing Director overseeing the Northern region; Tony Wilson, Managing Director overseeing the west region; and Joseph McQuaid, Managing Director overseeing the Southern region.

Christopher Arnold joins Morgan Creek from Model Capital Management, where he served as a Strategy Consultant. Prior to that, Mr. Arnold was National Sales Manager at Beaumont Capital Management, earlier in his career, Chris held positions at Windham Capital Management and TS Capital LLC. He received his B.A. from Farleigh Dickinson University.
Joseph McQuaid joins Morgan Creek from Guggenheim Investments, where he served as a Regional Vice President. Prior to that, Mr. McQuaid spent nine years at Mainstay Investments most recently as National Sales Manager for the RIA channel. He received his B.S. from Capella University.
Tony Wilson joins Morgan Creek from Highland Capital Management, where he served as a Senior Director managing the western US region. Prior to that, Mr. Wilson held positions at Artio Global Investors and Turner Investment Partners. He received his B.A. from UCLA and CIMA certification from The Wharton School.
