BEAR MOUNTAIN, N.Y., May 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Motomarathon Association will bring its long-distance, motorcycle sport-touring format to the Empire State July 23-26 with the 2015 New York Motomarathon™, starting and ending in Bear Mountain, reaching north and looping out of Lake George.
"Now in our seventh season, we've had a number of great rides in the region," said Motomarathon Founder John Metzger. "Our Routemasters know New York's and New England's hidden-gem twisty roads that provide the best riding experience, mixed in with great scenery and historic landmarks."
For a $50 fee, participants receive a precisely engineered route for each day. Motomarathon routes and checkpoints are kept secret until the night before each day's ride. Participants complete a series of self-recorded checkpoints, photographing their badge numbers at designated landmarks.
