Mount Sinai − National Jewish Health Respiratory Institute Opens in New York City

NEW YORK, June 8, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and National Jewish Health, the nation's leading respiratory hospital based in Denver, today announced the official opening of the Mount Sinai − National Jewish Health Respiratory Institute at Mount Sinai's campus in Manhattan. The partnership creates a strong, integrated program for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory illness and lung disease, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and interstitial lung disease (ILD).

National Jewish Health is the only institution in the nation dedicated to research and treatment of respiratory disease for both adults and children. The Respiratory Institute uses the multidisciplinary approach employed by National Jewish Health in its outpatient programs.
