MRA Group Assists Aria Health In The Construction And Management Of New Urgent Care Facilities Throughout The Philadelphia Area

HORSHAM, Pa., July 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- MRA Development Services, Inc., an affiliated company of MRA Group, a comprehensive real estate services firm located in Horsham, Pennsylvania, has completed the construction and fit-out of Aria Health's urgent care facility located at 2451 Grant Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Allmed Comprehensive Care Centers are Aria Health's latest healthcare venture that provides specialized care to treat non-emergent injuries or conditions. Aria Allmed facilities are now frequented by patients throughout the Philadelphia and Bucks County regions who are seeking convenient alternatives to visiting the emergency room.

A longtime partner of Aria Health, MRA developed the 4,000 square foot walk-in patient facility at the intersection of Grant Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard. Previously fit-out as a family medical practice, MRA renovated the space to include seven exam rooms, a radiographic x-ray room, a clinical laboratory, and a centralized nursing station. Heather DeFreytas, Director of Project Management and Design at MRA, and her team specifically designed the urgent care for Aria Health to conduct ancillary healthcare services at the facility, including radiology, occupational health, and laboratory services. "We wanted to create a convenient space while still incorporating Aria Health's professional and medical standards and the quality of care that patients receive at the health system's main campuses," said Ms. DeFreytas.

Currently located in Northeast Philadelphia and on Street Road in Bensalem, MRA manages both Aria Allmed locations and recently completed lease negotiations for a third location on Delaware Avenue in Center City, Philadelphia. "We are currently in the construction phase for the 4,000 square foot Delaware Avenue facility and anticipate completion for Fall 2016."
