MSL Chicago Executives Elevated to National Leadership Team
MSL promotes Amy Cheronis and Eileen Ziesemer as part of new integrated business model
CHICAGO, Sept. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, MSL announced two executives from MSL Chicago were elevated to national leadership roles on the newly formed MSL 1 Team. Amy Cheronis becomes U.S. Chief Integration Officer and Eileen Ziesemer becomes the U.S. Consumer Practice Lead.
The new MSL 1 Team business model merges six U.S. offices to a single P&L and transitions the agency to a Practice & Sector orientation designed to drive growth and offer increased opportunity for talent.
Since taking the helm as managing director of MSL Chicago, Cheronis has accelerated the company's integration with Publicis Groupe agencies as part of the holding company's Power of One mission, a new orientation designed to put clients at the center and facilitate access to the Groupe's services in a fluid, modular way. Ziesemer also joins MSL 1 Team leadership heading the U.S. consumer practice following a strong track record in business growth with notable blue-chip clients.

Cheronis steps into the role of CIO after serving as Managing Director of MSL Chicago since March 2016. Cheronis led the merger of MSL and Leo Burnett's Reputation and Communications team where she served as EVP, Global and U.S. Communications. With more than eight years of experience at Leo Burnett and two at MSL Chicago, Cheronis' record of driving growth and collaboration will scale to the role of CIO for MSL in the United States.
Cheronis helped deliver 15 percent growth for MSL Chicago over the past year with a growing client base including Akzo Nobel, The Allstate Foundation, Esurance, Feeding America, Marshall's, P&G, Second City and the Whirlpool Corporation.
In her new role, Cheronis is tasked with driving collaboration and further integrating teams across the MSL network. She will also support all MSL U.S. office leads in developing and maintaining strong agency culture, delivering best-in-class service and attracting the most skilled and creative talent for the company. Cheronis is one of six members of the U.S. Executive Team and reports to Guirguis.
Eileen Ziesemer, U.S. Consumer Practice Lead
Ziesemer, previously Senior Vice President, Consumer Practice Lead for MSL Chicago, helped the agency grow and build its reputation as an integrated powerhouse with clients such as Brizo, Delta, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air and Marshalls.
Ziesemer's new role as the national Consumer Practice Lead is a testament to her strong client management, track record of growth, dedication to championing people and teams, and keen understanding of how modern public relations fits into the broader marketing mix.
In her new role, Ziesemer will help cultivate growth for the consumer practice and build upon the power of her integrated agency team leadership. Ziesemer is one of five national practice leads and will report to U.S. Chief Operating Officer Danielle Wuschke.
