BOSTON, April 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Event 360 are proud to announce the 2016 season of MuckFest MS, the 5K mud run series. This mud obstacle run features over 20 obstacles designed for any athletic level.
The MuckFest MS series supports people living with multiple sclerosis, and brings us closer to a world free of MS. 100% of fundraising dollars support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's mission to stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever. In 2015, more than 40,000 participants raised more than $3 million. Since its inception, MuckFest MS participants have raised more than $22 million.
In 2016, MuckFest MS will happen in 11 cities across the country, including for the first time in Dallas at the legendary Southfork Ranch. Registration for the series is now open at www.MuckFestMS.com.

Philadelphia – Saturday, June 4 & Sunday, June 5
New Jersey – Saturday, June 25 & Sunday, June 26

Detroit – Saturday, August 6
Twin Cities – Saturday, August 20
Chicago – Saturday, September 10
San Francisco – Saturday, October 1
Houston – Saturday, October 15

The elaborate course and festival area are constructed to ensure spectators get a great view of the muddy action. There's no admission fee for spectators, so runners are encouraged to invite family and friends to enjoy the day. Even kids get their own mucky play area called Lil' Muckers. After teams cross the finish line, they take their mud-soaked "after" photo, hose off, and celebrate their accomplishments with their complimentary treats and Traveler beers in the MuckFestival area. AbbVie is the national sponsor of MuckFest MS. The national MuckFestival sponsor is the Traveler Beer Company.
