Multiplied Media announces availability of new weather and gas features in award-winning Poynt application

With this release, the Company also launched the application in three additional European countries.

Poynt enables users to discover their local area and makes it easy for consumers to view search results on an interactive map, get driving directions, make restaurant reservations, see showtimes, watch movie trailers and now view weather and find gas - all from within one intuitive application.

Poynt's new weather feature displays the current temperature and conditions while the physical look of the weather and the time of day is displayed in the background of the application. If the user is in an area where there are conditions such as snowfall or rain, snowflakes or droplets will appear on the screen in a lifelike manner. Users can click on the listed temperature and conditions for more in depth details on the current local weather including: humidity, pressure, dew point, wind chill and cloud cover. The short-term forecast can be accessed from Poynt's main page by clicking on the within the application. The weather feature is available throughout Canada , the United States , Germany , United Kingdom , France , Italy and Spain .

Poynt users in the United States can now search local gas stations by lowest price or closest proximity. Users click on the Gas Prices icon from the main page of the application, then select Best Gas Prices or Gas Station Nearest Me to access a listing of all the gas stations in the area, including their address and proximity to the user's location, as well as the price per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. Within the Best Gas Prices search, users are able to drill down by grade, including by BioDiesel and Ethanol. Once the user selects the station that they wish to visit, Poynt provides easy to follow turn-by-turn directions.

Citysearch has also been integrated into the application to provide Poynt users the ability to read business details and reviews on over 15M businesses throughout the United States .
