MV Transportation Celebrates 50 Years of Service

DALLAS, Aug. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- MV Transportation, the largest privately owned passenger transportation company in North America, proudly celebrates its 50th anniversary today, August 5, marking five decades of service, innovation, growth and commitment to accessible mobility for all.

Founded in 1975 by Alex and Feysan Lodde as California MediVan, MV began with a simple mission: to provide the freedom of mobility to people with disabilities and the elderly in San Francisco by offering access to safe, reliable transportation. From those humble beginnings, MV has grown into a national leader, delivering critical transit services across 26 U.S. states and Canada. In late 2022, MV entered a new chapter under the leadership of Chairman and CEO Harry Wilson and Chief Operating Officer Kevin Klika.
