MWG Holdings Opens First Perfect Union Store in San Jose Through Local Equity Partnership

Grand Opening on Wednesday, Sept. 16, Marks Perfect Union's Entry into the San Jose Market

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- MWG Holdings Group, Inc. The opening also marks the culmination of years of collaboration and advocacy supporting local cannabis entrepreneurs, including early support through the California Grow Green program, then operated by the California Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce (CalAsian Chamber). 

The new Perfect Union San Jose dispensary is located at 2220 Business Circle, San Jose, CA 95128, and will operate from 6 a.m.–10 p.m.

MWG invites the San Jose community to celebrate the grand opening with a four-day Grand Opening Sale featuring 40% off more than 65 participating brands, running Wednesday, Sept. 16 through Saturday, Sept. 19. The celebration kicks off with a Ribbon Cutting on opening day, Sept. 16, at 9 a.m., followed by exclusive promotions, doorbusters, and brand demos and giveaways throughout the sale.

Nguyen's path to ownership ran through the City of San Jose's Cannabis Equity Business Academy (CEBA), which trains local equity applicants to build and run cannabis businesses. That journey was supported by the California Grow Green program, which was operated by the California Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce from 2018 to 2024 and provided industry education, support, resources and advocacy for entrepreneurs navigating California's emerging legal cannabis industry.

Frank Louie, former COO of the CalAsian Chamber and Managing Director of the California Grow Green program, worked closely with entrepreneurs through the CEBA program and has continued to advocate for their success and opportunities for equitable business ownership.
