ROSWELL, Ga., March 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MYCOM, a leading global provider of innovative wireless engineering services and best-in-class Next Generation OSS Service Assurance software solutions to the telecom industry, announced today that they will be showcasing their new mobile device testing facilities at CTIA Wireless in Orlando, FL (March 22-24, 2011). The new Advanced Device Testing Laboratory is located in MYCOM's headquarters office in Roswell, GA.

The new MYCOM Advanced Device Testing Lab provides mobile device performance testing utilizing the latest International Telecommunications Union-Telecommunications Standardization Sector and Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality (ITU-T and PESQ) standards.  Laboratory reference testing is complemented by further capabilities for device drive testing available in all major metropolitan markets nationwide.

MYCOM has completed benchmark testing and received instrumentation certification from the world market leader for testing equipment, ROHDE & SCHWARZ.  The lab features fully-automated lab testing via CMUgo and measurement collection via a UPV Audio Analyzer.  MYCOM drive test data collection procedures utilize the newest Schmidt & Partners Engineering (SPEAG) version 4.5 Broadband-Solid Head Phantoms and ancillary OTA Hand Phantoms to ensure the best simulation of over-the-air performance of the device under test.

MYCOM has invested heavily to achieve the highest quality, state-of-the-art practices, methods, and procedures with its facility and looks forward to providing mobile device testing services for its clients.

MYCOM President, Richard Hessler, remarked, "From our USA headquarters in Atlanta, GA and ten regional offices, we've been driving end-to-end wireless network performance since 2000.  MYCOM has enjoyed outstanding growth in 2008, 2009, and 2010 and earned the trust and confidence of wireless operators and network equipment OEMs alike.  We are confident our new Advanced Device Testing Lab will help both wireless operators and device OEMs to satisfy explosive consumer demand for new mobile, embedded, and M2M devices at work, home, and play."
