Maier is an experienced senior executive with more than 25 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industry, and an extensive knowledge of product management, business development, and services leadership in both North America and globally. Previously, he was Vice President of Business Development at Siemens Energy, and General Manager of the Industry and Energy Vertical and Senior Vice President of North American Sales at Siemens IT Solutions and Services.

Maier began his career at AT&T/Lucent Technologies and holds an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University (NJ). In addition, he completed an executive program with the INSEAD international graduate school in France.
