The Latino Media Fest will be showcasing the best Latinx content and filmmakers nationwide including NALIP's Latino Lens Incubator projects which helps filmmakers reach new heights, with supporting partners, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, WORLD channel, and the Time Warner Foundation.
Latino Media Fest Awards Night
NALIP will honor outstanding filmmakers and films of 2018 on Thursday, October 4th, 2018 at the AMC Century City 15 during the Latino Media Fest Awards. Best LatinX Film Award to Blindspotting to be received by director, Carlos Lopez Estrada. The Best LatinX Filmmaker Award will be presented by Life In Pieces actress Angelique Cabral to honoree, Eva Vives for All About Nina. The Best Latin American Director will be presented to Alonso Ruizpalacios for his film, Museo. The Best Latinx TV Show Award will be presented to STARZ's Vida.
The 2018 NALIP Latino Media Fest is the unique presenter of the best U.S. Latinx content across media platforms: narrative, TV/streaming, digital content, virtual reality, and documentary. Latino Media Fest is presented by Comcast NBCUniversal Telemundo and supported by 21st Century Fox Global Inclusion, El Rey Network, MPS Labo, and AMC Independent.
