SPCA of Central Florida Continues Adoption Success
ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The SPCA of Central Florida announced the continuation of its "Name Your Price Guarantee" adoption special, through September 30th, where Certified Pre-Owned dogs and cats can be adopted at its shelters, 2727 Conroy Road, Orlando, FL 32839 and 2800 County Home Road, Sanford, FL 32773. SPCA of Central Florida's full service veterinary department has checked all animals from nose to tail, making sure each adoptable dog and cat is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and equipped with a Pet Theft Detection Device, also known as a microchip. To view adoptable animals online visit www.orlandopets.org. Both shelters are open Monday - Saturday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm-4:00 pm.
"Our Labor Day adoption special resulted in 180 dogs and cats finding new homes, a record number for our shelters," said Kerri Burns, Executive Director for SPCA of Central Florida. "As summer ends, the shelters are filled to capacity with highly adoptable dogs and cats and we are turning to the community for help by asking the public to adopt a homeless animal and we are giving adopters the opportunity to name their price."
Whether you adopt a new model kitten or a late model senior dog, making room in your family for a special friend is made easy with the "Name Your Price Guarantee" on all adoption fees now through the end of the month. If you cannot adopt an animal, you can lend a hand by providing a temporary foster home for a special needs dog or cat. For more information on adopting or becoming a foster home, call (407)248-1744 or visit www.orlandopets.org.
