National Gas & Electric Selects Alpine Energy Systems' Broker Portal Software to Drive Commercial Sales Efforts
OAK BROOK, Ill., Aug. 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- As a rapidly growing private retail electricity and natural gas supplier, National Gas & Electric, LLC (NG&E) has partnered with Alpine Energy Systems to ramp up commercial sales efforts in 6 states and 17 utility territories in the nation's deregulated retail energy markets.
NG&E will utilize the Alpine Ascent Platform, which provides suppliers with a front and back-end interface to work alongside sales channels and broker networks, providing real-time custom pricing, contract execution, EDI/billing system integration, and commissions calculation.
"We view this partnership as an opportunity to grow our C&I business quickly and effectively," explains Kathryn Tozzini, NG&E's Senior Director, Sales and Business Operations. "By leveraging Alpine's sales platform, NG&E has the ability to manage a larger book of brokers, easily custom price deals, and, ultimately, grow the sales pipeline to close more sales, all of which accelerates our aggressive business expansion goals."
NG&E has recently garnered additional press for their affiliation with public retail energy company, Spark Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPKE) as both NG&E, Spark and its affiliates have been active in pursuing strategic acquisition opportunities in the retail energy space this year. With an ambitious growth plan, NG&E looks to expand their national presence into additional markets through organic growth and continued M&A activity, supported by the Alpine Ascent Platform.
"The ability to partner with the seasoned energy veterans at NG&E is a tremendous opportunity for Alpine as our platform becomes the industry standard for pricing portals and data management," says Michael Wood, Principal of Alpine. "We look forward to helping NG&E meet its goals for customer acquisition."
