National Pest Management Association Kicks Off Back to School with Sweepstakes, Honoring the Pest in Class

Grand prize winner awarded classroom visit with entomologist

FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- School is officially back in session, and the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) today announced the launch of the Pest in Class Sweepstakes, celebrating back-to-school season and teachers who use PestWorld For Kids in the classroom to make learning about bugs fun and interactive.

The sweepstakes will run through October 15, 2026. For the chance to win, entrants must fill out a form at PestWorldForKids.org/Sweepstakes with their name, contact, school information and a brief description about how they use PestWorld For Kids lesson plans and educational resources.

One lucky grand prize winner will receive a classroom visit with a board-certified entomologist and the ultimate prize pack, including pest-themed activities, games, posters, stickers and more. In addition, four runners-up will also win the prize pack for their classroom.

PestWorld For Kids, the kid-friendly version of NPMA's PestWorld.org, serves as a resource for teachers, parents and students to learn more about their favorite critters, equipped with lesson plans, games and informational pest guides.
