Baucum and Larry Jones.  Both Mr. Baucum and Mr. Jones bring storied careers and vast tax law experience.  They will join the firm as "of counsel" attorneys.  Jason B. Jones has a national reputation for his expertise in tax controversy matters and in dealing with the IRS. He is Board Certified in Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is a sought-after author, speaker, and professor. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Jones served as a Trial Attorney with the Tax Division of the United States Department of Justice, and received substantial trial experience in the United States District Courts.  He is a nationally recognized tax litigator, and represents clients in high-stake audit cases, criminal investigations, fraud penalties, IRS appeals, and tax planning controversies. He is currently the Director of the Federal Taxpayers Clinic at the SMU Dedman School of Law, where he has taught courses in Federal Tax Procedure, Criminal Tax Fraud, and Taxation of Property Disposition.
