Nationally Recognized Pediatric Health Expert Dr. Reginald Washington Joins Scalable Care as Clinical Advisor

SAN FRANCISCO, May 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Scalable Care, an AI-powered digital health company that transforms cutting-edge clinical research into scalable, evidence-based digital therapies, today announced that Dr. Reginald Washington, MD, FAAP, FACC, FAHA, a leading voice in pediatric cardiology and child health policy, has joined as a Clinical Advisor. 

Dr. Washington was one of three finalists for Surgeon General of the United States in 2006 and has held numerous leadership roles across academic, nonprofit, and healthcare institutions. As advisor to Scalable Care, he will be instrumental in helping address the growing demand for interventions that can more quickly and effectively help those struggling with behaviors affecting their health and wellness.

Dr. Washington brings unparalleled clinical expertise and decades of leadership in pediatric health, a priority area of focus for Scalable Care. He is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and formerly served as Chief Medical Officer of Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children and Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center.

He has published over 78 articles in peer-reviewed journals on childhood obesity, pediatric cardiology, and related topics and served on the Editorial Boards of several journals, including The Journal of Pediatrics, Congenital Heart Disease, and Pediatric Exercise Science.
