Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking welcomes Janet Kim as Managing Director and Head of Strategic Equity Capital Markets Americas
NEW YORK, Feb. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (Natixis CIB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Janet Kim as Managing Director and Head of Strategic Equity Capital Markets (SECM) Americas. An accomplished strategic equity solutions leader, Janet brings more than 25 years of structured capital markets, product innovation, and strategic client advisory experience to the firm.
Based in New York, Janet will lead Natixis CIB's SECM development in the Americas, implementing the firm's strategic plans to drive the buildout of this business in the region. She will report locally to Michael Moravec, Head of Investment Banking Americas, and globally to Renaud Latreille, Global Head of SECM.

As Head of SECM Americas, Janet will oversee the origination and execution of all SECM transactions (equity financing, primary equity, equity advisory and volatility-based solutions) and partner closely with the bank's Coverage teams to engage in active dialogue with Natixis key clients (Financial Institutions, Financial Sponsors, and Corporate Clients) on advisory, hedging, and borrowing needs.
Prior to joining Natixis CIB, Janet was a Managing Director at Santander Capital Markets in the Strategic Equity Solutions division. She also held senior roles at Coinbase and, prior to that, spent more than 20 years at BNP Paribas, where she served as Head of Strategic Equity Solutions in New York and Co-Head of Global Growth Markets in London. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University and completed coursework at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
