Nestle Family Donates $25,000 to Mercy Housing

GLENDALE, Calif., June 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- To help give the gift of hope to moms and families in need, Nestle Family recently partnered with the national nonprofit organization Mercy Housing for a special Mother's Day program to help those less fortunate. The successful partnership, inspired by the shared desire among people to honor and help moms everywhere, resulted in a $25,000 donation from Nestle Family in support of Mercy Housing.

Donations were fueled through a customized photo tribute tool hosted on Facebook.com/NestleFamilyUSA. Participants were encouraged to thank and honor a special mom in their lives and for each unique photo tribute created*, Nestle Family donated $1 to Mercy Housing. Thanks to enthusiastic participation, gratitude for moms and a strong desire to help our neighbors and surrounding communities, fans of Nestle Family helped donate $25,000 to support moms and families in need.
