Author Gayle Redfern Explores Powerful Connections between Past and Present

In her new book, "Ancient Wisdoms: Exploring the Mysteries and Connections" (published by AuthorHouse), author Gayle Redfern shares the significance of applying ancient beliefs and laws to modern society. When individuals apply beliefs of the indigenous to daily living, they are able to bring their body, mind and spirit into balance. Each individual balance then transfers over to the entire community.

The difference between butterflies and humans is we have choices as to how we live. Butterflies have one, living in peace and harmony. For humans, choice one is initiating global changes that damage the Earth. Choice two leaves the planet just as we find it with no improvement or developments, all lessons are lost. Or, the preferable choice, involves revisiting primordial cultures, selecting the best characteristics from each era and blending them into our modern technological world. Each era and each society leaves a legacy of good and bad.

As stated by Redfern, the indigenous people of the world's past live by certain teachings and guidelines -- they know how to learn from the past and move on. They knew by taking the past gentleness and humor of the world, they eliminated fear. By adopting these teachings, humans could move into the future in peace. When asked of her motivation in writing this book, Redfern explains:

As an intuitive, my spirit friends told me it was time to revisit the teachings and guidelines of the indigenous of the world. I looked for cultures that honor their ancestors and bring their teachings into daily life, with integrity. Powerful ancient teachings are a gift to the present.
