A new global study by Castrol EDGE reveals 81 percent of people worldwide fail to feel exhilarated on a daily basis. This research underpins the Castrol EDGE Live on the Edge project, which celebrates the importance and impact of everyday exhilaration on wellbeing as well as the pursuit of these moments every day.

The newest film in the series, Rain Starts Play, shines a light on renowned US comedian, record-breaking podcaster and car racing enthusiast, Adam Carolla, who uses the film as an opportunity to reflect on pivotal moments in his life and career.

Rain Starts Play sees Carolla embrace torrential rainfall and set out for an adrenaline-pumping wet drifting experience at a racetrack, pushing an Audi R8 V10 Quattro to its very limits. For some, rain stops play; for Adam rain starts play.

The film showcases Carolla's unique character and mentality — expressed in his restless pursuit of fun and adventure. Research Methodology   
The research was conducted by Crowd DNA using an online omnibus survey method, collecting 4,395 responses across the UK (2,094), US (1,282) and China (1,019). Fieldwork was undertaken between November 20 – December 4, 2018.  Adults were aged 18-55 with gender, socio-economic background and geography representative of the national populations.
