The PCAP controllers are powered by a combination of Elo's new ASIC, the engine that enables the controllers' unique performance, and state-of-the-art in-house algorithm development. Both controllers include a completely configurable architecture that offers great flexibility and performance for industrial- and commercial- grade touchscreen control. Elo's industry-leading algorithms enable the controllers to address the unique needs of industrial and commercial touch applications. They handle contaminates, such as liquids (salt, saline and fresh water), in harsh environments and use mixed mode scanning and frequency hopping for challenging noise interference environments (EMI).

Key benefits include 10-point true multi-touch capabilities, fast and sensitive touch response, high accuracy and linearity, up to 144 channels configurable as drive or receive, and a report rate up to 200Hz. Additionally, with Elo's new advanced tuning tools supporting challenging commercial applications, the 9200 and 9300 series PCAP controller hardware and firmware performance can be optimized for demanding applications far beyond the tuning available with off-the-shelf PCAP controllers.
