America Movil S.A.B. de C.V. Research Reports 

On July 21, 2014, Mexico-based communications services provider, America Movil S.A.B. de C.V. (America Movil) reported Q2 2014 financial results. Revenues for the period were up 4.0% YoY to MXN 202.6 billion. At constant exchange rates, service revenues were up 5.8% driven by both mobile data revenues and PayTV revenues. EBITDA of MXN 66.6 billion was up 2.4% YoY in local currency terms and 4.7% at constant exchange rates. The EBITDA margin for Q2 2014 came in at 32.9%. Operating profit was MXN 39.2 billion, down 3.3% YoY due to an increase of depreciation and amortization charges linked to higher levels of investment. First Solar, Inc. Research Reports 

On July 28, 2014, First Solar, Inc. (First Solar) and XSOL Co., Ltd. - a leading distributor and integrator of solar systems in Japan, jointly announced that they have signed an agreement to supply First Solar's cadmium telluride (CdTe) thin film modules in Japan. The agreement targets installation of 100 (MW)DC, annually. In 2013, First Solar announced plans to invest $100 million in development of mega solar power projects in Japan. The agreement with XSOL enables First Solar's advanced technology to be supplied to smaller scale projects as well. NXP Semiconductors NV Research Reports 

On July 23, 2014, NXP Semiconductors NV (NXP) announced Q2 FY 2014 (period ended June 29, 2014) financial results. Revenues increased 13.6% YoY and 8.3% QoQ to $1.3 billion, which were at the higher end of the Company's revenue guidance. GAAP net income attributable to stockholders was $159 million, or $0.64 per diluted share, versus $111 million or $0.43 per diluted share during Q2 FY 2013. Non-GAAP net income attributable to stockholders was $273 million, or $1.09 per share, versus $182 million or $0.71 per share in the prior year period. NXP repurchased approximately 3.8 million shares in Q2 FY 2014 for a total cost of approximately $223 million. For Q3 FY 2014, NXP expects a non-GAAP EPS between $1.25 and $1.35 and total revenues of $1,471 million - $1,522 million.
