New Ricoh products bring big power to small offices, home offices and workgroups

MALVERN, Pa., April 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ricoh today introduced a new printer and multifunction product (MFP) line that brings big-business power and reliability to small offices and home offices.

The monochrome RICOH SP 3600DN printer and RICOH SP 3600SF/SP 3610SF MFP produce 31 pages per minute using Ricoh's new LED print technology, which delivers 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution without loss of print speed.

The devices include powerful technology to advance customers' information mobility, including printing from smartphones and tablets via the RICOH Smart Device Print&Scan app, and the ability to scan paper documents and convert them to digital files for sending via email and storage on network folders, USB drives and FTP sites. Compact dimensions (as small as 15 x 15 x 10.5 inches) make the devices small enough to fit on a desktop, an advantage for the increasing number of home-based workers.

The RICOH SP 3600DN printer and SP 3600SF/SP 3610SF MFP handle paper sizes up to 8.5 x 14 inches, stocks up to 90 lb. Index, and paper loads of up to 850 sheets. Operating costs are reduced by features such as the machines' two-part supply design, which enables separate changing of the toner or drum, as well as standard duplexing and low energy consumption (EPEAT^® Silver and ENERGY STAR™ certification).

The MFPs supplement printing with copying, scanning and faxing, and include advanced features such as ID card copy, G3 faxing, LAN faxing, color scanning and the ability to create TIFF, JPG and PDF files. The SP 3610SF includes single-pass two-sided scanning for enhanced speed and productivity.

Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) is $355 for the RICOH SP 3600DN printer. MSRP for the SP 3600SF is $540, and MSRP for the SP 3610SF is $605.
