New York's Horizon Health Services Joins Hazelden Betty Ford Patient Care Network

CENTER CITY, Minn. and BUFFALO, N.Y., Sept. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation today welcomed Horizon Health Services in Buffalo, N.Y., as the newest member of its growing Patient Care Network.

Horizon Health Services is the largest provider of residential and outpatient mental health and substance use treatment in Western New York.

The new collaboration is timely given the nation's opioid overdose epidemic, and the broader addiction crisis underlying it, which have placed added pressures on individuals, families, communities and health care providers.

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation launched its Patient Care Network – the first of its kind in the addiction treatment industry— in the fall of 2017.
