A cloud catalyst service is internationally available today while a live scoping for accelerated innovation service is initially available in North America. Both services are offered by the SAP® Consulting organization.

Though many companies already use cloud solutions, there is no single way to transition to the public or private cloud from a traditional on-premise deployment. As a result, companies face hybrid landscapes when implementing and spanning business processes across on-premise and cloud infrastructures. The cloud catalyst service offers a bundle of analysis and a selective migration road map to lower the entry barrier for using infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) for on-premise landscapes. It addresses these issues by offering a clear picture of how to relate an existing SAP landscape to the cloud as well as an understanding of the costs and benefits of migrating to the cloud. The service also addresses how public and private cloud delivery models can be used in a hybrid manner to fulfill business demands for increased agility by a scalable and cost-efficient infrastructure.

The new service for live scoping for accelerated innovation, initially available in North America, allows customers from select industries to experience their own business as a live, running company on solutions such as SAP® Business Suite software, the SAP HANA® platform and others. By experiencing fully integrated, end-to-end business processes with their own data, customers can predict and accelerate their implementations and help reduce risk at the same time. The live scoping for accelerated innovation service, initially available in North America, offers customers scenario walk-throughs, guided demonstrations and scope and interface discussions to show transparent estimates for deployment efforts of SAP projects. The offering is planned to be expanded to other regions.
