NFL Extra Points Challenge
Indianapolis Colts Kicker, Adam Vinatieri, will attempt the NFL Extra Points Kick between 4 - 5 p.m. PST on Wed., Feb. 3 at NFL Experience in the San Francisco Bay Area. With the goal of awarding 1.5 million NFL Extra Points, equivalent to $15,000, to the Pat Tillman Foundation, Vinatieri will attempt to kick three regulation NFL footballs twenty-five yards through three designated targets positioned inside an NFL goalpost. The Pat Tillman Foundation is the namesake of former NFL player and Bay Area native who put his NFL career on hold to serve in the military following 9/11. The foundation invests in military veterans and their spouses through academic scholarships, building a diverse community of leaders committed to serving others. To date, the Pat Tillman Foundation has invested over $12 million in academic support and scholarships, helping more than 400 Tillman Scholars pursue their studies in medicine, law, business, policy, technology, education and the arts.
