NFT Limited (NYSE American: MI) Releases RWAIX Protocol and Open-Sources Reference Implementation on GitHub -- 90-Day Real-World Pilot Targeted Q1 2027

HONG KONG, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- NFT Limited (NYSE American: MI) (the "Company"), an emerging online trading platform operator of international art and collectibles, today released RWAIX — a proposed technical protocol intended to let buyers, sellers, AI agents, and even robots verify who they are, what they agreed to, and whether delivery actually occurred. The Company's existing digital art platform is intended to be the first real-world use case. The Company announced that an internal, company-administered test record shows 50 tests passed with no failures, and that it intends to launch a limited live pilot within 90 days, targeted for Q1 2027, subject to completion of independent security review and other conditions. The reference implementation has been open-sourced on GitHub athttps://github.com/hw7325391218-create/rwaix under the MIT License, allowing any developer to independently clone the repository and run the full 50-test suite.

What Is RWAIX?  

RWAIX is intended to function as a shared record-keeping and verification layer for digital commerce. Under current practice, parties to an online transaction rely on the platform operator to record what occurred. RWAIX is designed to replace that reliance on a single party with a system in which both parties, and independent verifiers, can review the same record: who agreed to what, when delivery occurred, whether payment was made, and how disputes are to be resolved.

This is relevant for three reasons. AI agents are beginning to negotiate and pay for services without direct human involvement. Real-world assets, such as buildings, equipment, and energy, are beginning to be explored as digital tokens. Robots may increasingly need to be authorized to act remotely. In each of these scenarios, counterparties often cannot fully verify one another, and the Company believes RWAIX is designed to address this problem.

First Real-World Use: Existing NFT Platform 

The Company is not starting from scratch. Its existing digital art trading platform is operated by Metaverse Digital Payment Co., Limited ("Metaverse HK"), the Company's wholly owned Hong Kong subsidiary. RWAIX is intended to first be used to upgrade one existing NFT order — end to end: from the moment a buyer agrees to purchase, through delivery, independent verification, payment, and dispute handling. RWAIX has not yet been integrated with the platform in production. The pilot is intended to use existing bank rails, and no new cryptocurrency is required for it.

Open Source Reference Implementation

The RWAIX reference implementation is released under the MIT License at:http://www.rwaix.io. Any developer can independently clone the repository, install dependencies, and run the 50-test suite locally to verify the results described in this release. The repository includes source code for the core protocol logic (Node.js), 50 automated test cases with expected outputs, schema definitions and API documentation, and a browser demo using synthetic data.

The 90-Day Plan

Here is the Company's current plan for the next 90 days, which remains subject to change:

• Days 0–30: Lock down the platform, software, and artwork rights for one controlled order.
• Days 31–60: Test the full flow in a sandbox — simulated orders, simulated payments, simulated disputes — to ensure nothing breaks.
• Days 61–90: Subject to completion of an independent security review, the Company intends to launch a small real order with real money, if and when appropriate. The Company will announce separately when this goes live.

What Comes Next 

The Company believes the same technology may be capable of extending beyond NFT art. The Company is exploring two future directions, neither of which is currently funded, contracted, or committed:

• AI Compute: Companies that rent GPU computing power may use RWAIX to verify that compute was actually delivered and automatically settle payment.
• Robots: Humanoid robots may be given time-limited, scope-limited remote authorization — with every action recorded and verifiable.

As of the date of this release, the Company has not signed any AI compute customer, has not started any robot project, and has not issued any cryptocurrency.

Why Now? 

Three trends are converging (public data from IDC, IFR, WTO, World Bank):

• Global public cloud spending surpassed $1 trillion in 2026 (IDC, March 2026).
• AI-related IT spending is forecast to reach approximately $1.3 trillion by 2029 (IDC, August 2025).
• Approximately 5 million industrial robots are in operation globally (IFR, September 2026).
