NIRI San Diego May Meeting: Seasoned IROs Discuss "Tips & Tactics for Establishing and Maintaining A Successful Investor Relations Program"

SAN DIEGO, May 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The San Diego Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) will host a panel discussion on "Tips & Tactics for Establishing & Maintaining a Successful Investor Relations Program" at the chapter's May 17, 2012 meeting.

The panel of seasoned IR professionals will discuss best practices developed during their careers, and share their unique perspectives on what makes an effective Investor Relations program.  Special emphasis will be placed on specific issues related to biotech and technology companies.

Whether you're new to Investor Relations or a long-term professional, this event will provide a thoughtful exchange and helpful advice for starting or enhancing an IR program.

Panelists:
Julie Cunningham - Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, Mitek Systems. Julie brings 20 years of experience in corporate, financial and regulatory communications and extensive relationships with large, mid, and small-cap institutional investors and equity analysts, as well as national and financial media.

Nadine Padilla - Associate, Law Padilla. Nadine's expertise encompasses launching industry-leading products, countering attacks on public stocks, building the identities of innovative, growing companies.

Robert Uhl  - Managing Director, Westwicke Partners. Robert has 20 years of Wall Street experience on both the sell side and buy side, primarily as a financial analyst and as director of equity research. He also served as an investor relations officer at a biotechnology company.
