Nita Summers Joins Douglas Elliman As Managing Broker Of Boca Raton Office

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Sept. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Douglas Elliman announces the addition of Nita Summers as managing broker of the firm's Boca Raton office, located at 444 East Palmetto Park Road. With more than 30 years of noteworthy experience, Summers joins the team with an outstanding reputation and extensive network of clientele.

Summers arrives at Douglas Elliman after a series of successful tenures at some of the market's leading real estate firms, including Prudential Florida Realty, Arvida Realty Services, and Coldwell Banker. As both a managing broker and, ultimately, a district manager in Palm Beach County, Summers recorded a wealth of experience in listing, selling, and marketing a variety of properties, as well as supporting mergers and acquisitions. In 2004 she launched her own company, Summers Properties, with a specialization in investment and commercial real estate. Summers also worked as the district sales manager for the Keyes Company, overseeing their Weston and Boca Raton residential and commercial sales offices. Her impressive portfolio of accomplishments includes the representation of Marrano Marc Equities, a development company from New York, in the sale of their prestigious 1200 Hillsboro Mile property in Hillsboro Beach with over $30 million of inventory sold at an average sales price of $1 million per unit.

Summers first entered the real estate business in 1984 as an associate at Capital Homes Realty in upstate New York. She was a top listing and real estate agent before ultimately moving on to handle all aspects of the business as a manager of Prudential Manor Homes Latham/Loudonville office.
